Robyn Damianos is an Australian model turned photographer based The Bahamas. Her bright, vibrant, modern aesthetic translates across a multitude of genres - fashion, lifestyle, travel & commercial advertising photography.
Starting out in front of the camera, Robyn was discovered by Select Model Management in London at the age of 15. It was during her first modeling assignment for Italian VOGUE that her passion for photography ignited. Appearing in multiple editions of VOGUE, Harper’s Bazaar, ELLE, i-D, Dazed & Confused, Purple, and D Repubblica, in addition to campaigns and runway shows for renowned designers such as Prada, Burberry, YSL, Miu Miu, Vivienne Westwood, and DKNY worldwide granted her a unique perspective and years of industry experience. Robyn developed a natural understanding of photography styles & techniques while working for acclaimed photographers such as Steven Meisel, Corinne Day, Guy Aroch, Andreas Larsson, William Abranowicz and Mariano Vivanco.
Upon returning home to the Bahamas, Robyn was inspired by the country's natural beauty to switch to the other side of the lens. Growing up in the islands, she is most at home when shooting on the beach, capturing island-inspired beauty, feminine elegance, and tropical flair in her photography. Her unique ability to connect and communicate with her subject so they feel comfortable and confident is evident in her covers and timeless images.
Her photography has featured in numerous international magazines worldwide including VOGUE, The Wall Street Journal,, Harper’s Bazaar, InStyle. Additionally, she has photographed advertising campaigns clients such as PatBO, Elemis, Stubbs & Wootton and Wander Beauty. Additionally, Robyn showcased her expertise as the leading fashion photographer in The Bahamas while hosting an episode of the television series, Colors Of The Islands.
Robyn consistently brings a high level of creativity, organization, and passion to all her projects, infusing a sense of fun and positivity into fast-paced work environment. When not photographing for clients, Robyn enjoys travel adventures with her family, pilates, and working on her island inspired fine-art photography.
