Robyn Damianos is a Bahamas-based photographer specializing in fashion, swimwear, resort and lifestyle photography. Known for her bright, vibrant aesthetic and timeless editorial style, she brings authenticity and elegance to every project. Her work pairs the extraordinary landscapes of The Bahamas with a distinctly international fashion perspective.
Before moving behind the lens, Robyn spent more than a decade as an international model, appearing in VOGUE and Harper’s Bazaar and working with fashion houses including Prada, Burberry and Vivienne Westwood. Working with renowned photographers including Steven Meisel, Corinne Day and Mariano Vivanco shaped her understanding of fashion, movement and image-making and continues to influence her work today.
Now based in The Bahamas, Robyn combines that experience with an intimate knowledge of the islands and a mastery of natural light. Her photography has appeared in international publications and campaigns, with clients including VOGUE, Harper’s Bazaar, The Wall Street Journal, Alice + Olivia, ELEMIS, PatBO, Rosewood, Four Seasons, Atlantis Paradise Island and Baha Mar.
Robyn’s experience on both sides of the lens brings an instinctive understanding of movement, expression and presence, allowing her to capture her subjects at their most natural and striking, a quality reflected in her timeless covers and editorial imagery.
Robyn was also selected to represent The Bahamas as its featured fashion photographer in the television series Colors of the Islands.
