BAHAMAS PHOTOGRAPHER
Robyn Damianos is an Australian model turned photographer, based in the Bahamas. Known for her striking editorials and evocative images, her bright, authentic, modern aesthetic translates across a multitude of genres - fashion, portrait, lifestyle & commercial advertising photography.
Starting out in front of the camera, Robyn appeared in multiple editions of VOGUE, Harpers Bazaar, ELLE, i-D, covers for D Repubblica, in addition to advertising campaigns & runway for Prada, Burberry, Jill Sander, Lanvin, Vivienne Westwood, DKNY, Tory Burch, ACNE Jeans and others. She developed a natural understanding of photography styles & techniques while modeling for acclaimed photographers such as Steven Meisel, Corinne Day, Guy Aroch, Andreas Larsson, William Abranowicz and Mariano Vivanco.
Upon returning home to the Bahamas, Robyn was inspired by the country's natural beauty to switch to the other side of the lens.
Her ability to connect and communicate with models so that they feel comfortable and confident on set is evident in her covers and timeless images.
Her work has appeared in numerous magazines worldwide including The Wall Street Journal, VOGUE, HARPERS BAZAAR, InStyle, etc. and she has photographed campaigns for PatBO, Stubbs & Wootton, Diamonds International, Baha Mar Resort, The Four Seasons etc. She also featured in the photography documentary, Colors Of The Islands .
When not photographing for clients, Robyn enjoys travel with her family, pilates, and working on her island inspired fine-art photography.
