The latest advertising campaign for Bahama Hand Prints. Featuring a new collaboration with award-winning Bahamian fashion designer Theodore Elyett.
We are wrapping up what has been a rollercoaster of a year with an advertising campaign for one of our favorite iconic designer brands, Bahama Hand Prints. We began working on the art direction and planning for this production during a countrywide lockdown, and it’s a joy to see it finally come to life coinciding with the reopening of the Bahamas beaches and hotels. Tourism is rebounding, our beaches are open and we are gaining control over a pandemic that has swept across every single country in the world.
We thoroughly enjoyed photographing their new line, which features light and whimsical fabrics, in easy to wear styles that every woman will surely want to add to her wardrobe.
To add to the excitement of the day, Theodore Elyette has created his first Ready-To-Wear collection in collaboration with Bahama Hand Prints. We were lucky enough to photograph his stunning creations on Miss Universe Bahamas, Tarea Bianca, the iconic Jessica Frances Thompson, Tonya Williams-Lightbourn, and Sherice Major.
TE For Bahama Hand Prints features a range of resort-wear styles in shades of turquoise and Pantone’s 2020 color of the year, classic blue!
I couldn’t be more proud of our excellent team for not only completing this campaign shoot while following all COVID health & safety protocols, but we also accomplished what would have usually been a full day’s production in half the amount of time! We flew through the looks and ticked every image off of our client’s wish-list in record timing.
This year has proven to be completely different from any we have encountered before. The year of Covid, a pandemic we had never faced before. Fortunately, between weekend lockdowns and curfews we were able to continue production and secure a private beach on which to photograph this advertising campaign for Bahama Hand Prints.
This shoot was most humbling since after being locked down for the majority of the year, we were able to really appreciate the joy of creating striking content for our client’s website, social media platforms, and marketing materials. Getting back to being outdoors, experiencing human connections, and reconnecting with the natural beauty of The Bahamas is what it’s all about.
Another highlight! The newest collection of Bahama Hand Prints designer handbags have also launched, packed with vibrant colors sure to make your Holidays brighter. In addition to their traditional designs, the new Bahamian straw bags are a perfect pick me up to go with every outfit, whether you’re dressed up for a night on the town or simply headed down to the beach. The new accessories featuring original prints on the interiors will be a coveted addition to everyone’s collection.
