Photography for Bahamian Fashion Designer - LIVI Resort Wear Advertising: Spring/Summer 2018 Resort Collection 🇧🇸💙

It was a pleasure to photograph LIVI Resort Wear’s new SS18 collection! LIVI is a vibrant brand focusing on comfortable swimwear that is both on trend and suitable for an active lifestyle. Each item is reversible, offering you two colors in every bikini.

I met Linnea who a Bahamian fashion designer located in Nassau. Linnea required advertising photography that showed the versatility of her new swimwear designs. I knew straight away that I wanted to create images that involved movement. The bikini tops and one-piece swimsuits are fully adjustable, tying in the back for that perfect fit to stay in place no matter how much you might decide to leap around or dance on the beach.

We created a shared mood board on Pinterest to conceptualize together and found two swimwear models who were available on the shoot date. Jessica Frances Thompson is a Bahamian model who I have photographed before, and it would be my first time working with Ariane, a Brazilian model living in Nassau.

Deciding to work only with natural light, we knew that our timing was important as the hours flew by. We chose two beach locations in Nassau that offered different backdrops. Because our models would have quick changes between looks, we flew through a variety of swimwear poses combined with natural movements to capture something unique for each photo. Both Jessica and Ariane were excellent at following my posing tips, and the shoot flowed smoothly.

This beach photoshoot couldn’t have been more fun! I am thrilled with how the photos turned out. I’ve added quite a few of my favorites to my Swimwear Photography Portfolio and sent everyone copies for their agency websites and social media.
