Earlier this year, Wilhelmina Agency contacted me book a celebrity portrait session for Lindsay Ellingson, a supermodel known for her VOGUE Covers, the Victoria’s Secret Runway and the “Wander Beauty” brand. They were looking for a lifestyle photographer in Nassau that had experience in the fashion industry. The desired look was timeless, bright and authentic, focussing purely on Lindsay’s natural beauty. 

I met with Lindsay at the Four Seasons Resort, situated on Paradise Island Beach in Nassau. Funnily enough, we didn’t realize until the morning of the shoot that had met many years when we were both walking the runway for designers in Paris. What followed was a fun trip down memory lane and a reminder of how small the world really is.

With nothing more than our beach bags, sunblock and my camera in hand, I set about photographing a range of images that captured the new Lindsay. Her stylist chose swimwear by Solid & Striped, Tory Burch, Monday Swimwear and paired them with accessories from Saks.

The makeup look was minimal while adding just a subtle glow to her skin and eyes, using products by “Wander Beauty by Lindsay Ellingson”. Lindsay launched the animal-friendly brand after absorbing so much knowledge about professional makeup and skin-care during her career as an international supermodel.

At the end of the fun & successful shoot, we reviewed the images from the shoot over lunch at the iconic Dune Restaurant.
